Mountain Ranch Park
Celebrates 31 year Anniversary
The
annual Day in the Park Celebration will be on August
28, 2010 at the Mountain
Ranch Community
Park located on Mountain
Ranch Road and Whiskey
Slide Road in Mountain Ranch.
This
year marks the 31st year anniversary of the park. A lot of hard
work all done by volunteers has made our park what is today, a good
playground, ball field and picnic areas.
This
event is designed to raise funds for the improvement and maintenance of the
park and the well used ball field.
We
receive no funds from the county or the state; The community of Mountain
Ranch supports the Park and ball field with fundraisers such as this event.
Festivities
begin at 12:00 with music by Burn
Day. Antique and restored cars will be on display by 12:00
noon. This show supports some of
the finest autos in the area.
Local
artisans will be selling their crafts under the shady walnut trees.
Persons
interested in renting a space may contact Susan Carter at 209-754-0875 after 6:30
PM.
The
Beef in the Barrel dinner will be served at 4:00 PM. Tickets are required.
Tickets
are $10.00 donation per person. Tickets for the dinner will not be mailed out
as in the past, but can be obtained at Mountain Ranch Realty or by calling
Pam Overacker at 209-
754-4806.
Senders
market has generously donated again a chance to win $150.00 Freezer Pack with
the purchase of a ticket.
Children
and Adult games will be organized and will include a horseshoe tournament,
silent auction and waterslide. This day will provide fun for all who attend.
